The Series 65 Expanders are specifically designed for ‘deep-reach’ expanding. With their parallel rolling and long, effective roll length, these tools are ideal for ‘touch-up’ rolling in thick tube sheets. With thrust ball bearing collars, these tools offer friction-free operation and long tool life. Rolls are self-retained in a cage and will not fall in or out of the cage when the mandrel is withdrawn from the expander.
The Series 114-S Expander tools allow for non-flaring tube expansion, such as straight expanding before or after the welding process, or in tightening up a leak tube after beading or flaring. The 114-S tools have the same mandrel and rolls as the 114 Flare Tools do. The 114-S Tools are suitable for water tube boilers, fire tube boilers, economisers and air heaters. Their compact design permits use in limited space through small handholes and headers.

The Hydraulic Tube Cutter quickly and efficiently cuts tubes in front of the tube sheet. In fact, it can cut a 2-inch Outer Diameter tube in just 8 seconds. The Hydraulic Tube Cutter automatically raises the cutter wheel, cleanly cutting through the tube. An adjustable collar ensures the tubes are consistently cut at precisely the right tube position.
One of the smartest tools is the Combo Beading Expander that offers three operations, including expanding, beading, and re-rolling in one tool. Helping with time savings, this tool cuts labour costs by 50% to 65% and requires minimal employee training or experience. As this Expander produces a perfect and tight bead every time, overall workmanship quality increases. The Series 28 Expanders simultaneously flare the tube as a preliminary to beading operations. The revolving thrust collar sets the tube and is notched to clear adjacent tubes if on close centers. It works well in most HRT and other fire tube boilers. These Expanders are also popular for far end rolling when used in conjunction with reverse mandrels and extension drives. The expander range is taken at the front of the thrust collar.
The Series 116 Expanders offer four expanding rolls and two flare rolls and simultaneously flare and roll an unusually fine surface with a minimum amount of indentation by the flare rolls. This flaring operation works ideally for HRT and other fire tube boilers where final beading of tube ends is the practice. This Expander’s self-retained rolls make it well-suited for use with reverse taper mandrels for far end tube expanding.
The Series 22 Expander Tools were specially designed for use in boiler rooms, boiler repair shops, railroads, Scotch Marine Boilers and for all general rolling in fire tube boilers where flaring is not required. The over-sized Series 22 model is offered for use in opening up existing tube holes. A revolving thrust collar helps eliminate jamming and its compact designs allows for working close to walls or adjacent tubes.

Suitable for many expanding applications in a variety of boiler headers, Parallel Gear Drives feature inner gears with individual bronze bushings and rotate on shafts that are an integral part of the steel housing. The rigid gear shafts do not come loose, helping to maintain the perfect alignment of gears under any operating condition. Alloy steel gears are specially heat treated for maximum strength and all parts are readily replaceable. Achieve maximum service by lubricating with Texaco Starfak grease M or an equivalent. It is important to select the proper square hole size when ordering.
It is useful for many applications involving expanding tubes through waterwall headers, superheaters and water legs. The integral design of the Wilson Extension Universal Joints eliminates coupling an extension with a separate universal joint. These Joints feature a working angle of 140° that matches the standard location of many tubes from the accessible hand hole.
‘GP’ Universal Joints are female square type models that smoothly rotate and deflect a common axis. These joints have an unusual strength for their size and prove popular with boiler makers.
Bi-Universal Joints are suitable for the unusual situations requiring deflecting greater than that provided by the Model GP.
Male-Female Universal Joints are suitable for use in superheater headers and have the same features as the Model GP.
Extension Couplings, available in both plain and reducing types, are generously proportioned and heat-treated to withstand applicable torque loads. Sockets have clearances to accommodate drive extensions and universals, to mention a few.
Drive Extensions are available for use with universal joints and parallel gear trains and with couplings for expander mandrels through water legs and headers.

The Pneumatic Beveling Machines can be used to remove weld or prepare tube ends prior to welding and to perform facing operations.
