Steam and Water Analysis System

Thermal Shut off Valves

This valve is installed in the downstream of sampling systems/heat exchangers. The valve responds only to temperature. Under the normal operation the valve is fully open. If the sample temperature increases within the operating temperature (49 Degree Celsius), the thermal actuator modulates the valve to close the inlet orifice. The valve automatically opens as the thermal actuator cools.

The heart of this valve is a solid to liquid phase change thermal actuator. The actuator contains Thermoloid® compound which changes phase from solid to a liquid as the temperature increases. As phase change occurs the volumes of Thermoloid® material changes significantly with the liquid volume greater than the solid volume. Since Thermoloid® is essentially incompressible under normal operating loads and is sealed into rigid actuator housing; only the piston can move and extend as the volume increases. This motion is used to open or close the valve.

Analyser

The treatment of water utilised in a power is critical for reducing boiler failures. As boilers generate steam or water is evaporated by a cooling tower, dissolved minerals accumulate and eventually lead to corrosion of boiler tubes and heat exchanger leaks. To properly control and conserve the chemical additives used to inhibit the costly build-up of deposits, and to determine appropriate boiler blow down schedules, continuous on-line pH and conductivity monitoring of boiler and cooling water is essential.

Chiller

The most compelling reason for a chiller is the protection it provides to your valuable process equipment applications. A chiller commonly represents a small fraction of the cost of the processing equipment, yet it provides solid protection of your investment, for years and years to come.

  • Compact skid mounted chiller system, ready to install
  • Chillers are fully automatic with tried and tested controls
  • Quick chilling is ensured with plate type or shell and tube evaporators
  • Chillers use energy saving  with cycling fans and high efficiency fin tube air-cooled condensers with liberal sized fans
  • Chillers offer guaranteed cooling capacity at rated parameters
  • Specific design to meet customer requirement for various temperatures available in addition to standard models

Stream Selector Unit

This Stream Selector Unit is based on a popular 8-bit microcontroller. The system is designed to control the timing of stream selection of up to eight stream systems using its timer and relay outputs. It also generates sample and hold analogue outputs for each channel.
